Foundation Certificate Overview
If you successfully complete the Foundation Certificate at the required level, then you are guaranteed progression to a related University of Glasgow degree.
After completing your Foundation Certificate you can progress onto Year 2 of your chosen undergraduate course at the University of Glasgow.
It's the fastest way to prepare for and achieve an undergraduate degree in Scotland - taking you four years to complete rather than five!

Course Structure
The Foundation Certificate course has four elements:

Academic skills modules
The modules will develop key scholastic abilities including research, writing, presentation and analysis.

Subject modules
You will consider the basics of your chosen area of study so that you have the required knowledge to progress to more specialised study.

Pathway modules
You will focus on the particular topics and skills needed most to progress into your chosen undergraduate degree course.

Student Tutorials
All students have a Learning Support Tutor who will work with them throughout their studies at the college, and will support you in achieving your study goals. It is through these regular meetings that your tutor will offer valuable advice to assist you in developing the necessary study skills and knowledge so that you receive the best possible experience while studying your Foundation Cerificate.
All foundation certificate modules are taught with your progression to the University of Glasgow in mind, and are tailored to meet the needs of international students.
Foundation level tuition in English Language is also available if you need it.
